     Dorothy Tuttle was born circa 1592 at Ringstead, Northamptonshire, England. Dorothy Tuttle was the daughter of Simon Tuttle and Isabel Wells. Dorothy Tuttle married James Bill, son of Robert Bill and Mary (?), circa 1626 at Ringstead, Northamptonshire, England.
          That she was related to the Tuttle family is probable, but in what way has not been ascertained. She was living at Boston in 1639/40 when she and her son, James, bought a house. (From E.L. Smith, Genealogist, Boston, MA.).¹

Abigail Udall married Joshua Birch, son of Jonathan Birch and Mercy Rathbun, on 16 February 1747/48. Abigail Udall died at possibly Saratoga, New York, USA.
          She was the second child and daughter of Dr. Lionel and Abigail Bill Udall of Stonington, CT, and was born 28 Jan 1729/30.
     She married Joshua Birch on 16 Feb 1748. (Stonington, CT, town records.).¹

     Anna Udall was born on 17 July 1728 at Stonington, New London, Connecticut, USA. Anna Udall was the daughter of Lionel Udall and Abigail Bill. Anna Udall married Benjamin Burch, son of Jeremiah Birch and Margaret Billings, on 8 November 1750 at Stonington, New London, Connecticut, USA. Anna Udall died.
          Her married name was Burch.

     John Udall was born on 10 February 1748/49 at Stonington, New London, Connecticut, USA. John Udall was the son of Lionel Udall and Abigail Bill. John Udall died.

     Lionel Udall was born in 1690 at of Exeter, Devonshire, England. Lionel Udall was the son of Lionel Udall and Anna (?). Lionel Udall married Abigail Bill, daughter of Samuel Bill and Mercy Haughton, on 30 October 1727 at Stonington, New London, Connecticut, USA. Lionel Udall died in 1767 at Stonington, New London, Connecticut, USA.
          He was a practicing physician residing at Stonington, CT, in the first half of the eighteenth century. Dr. Udall was a man of considerable prominence and appears to have had a large practice in eastern Connecticut and throughout Rhode Island, extending from New London to Newport. He is said to have been born in England about 1690, to have come early to this country and to have married in Stonington, where all his children were born and where he died in 1767. The list of his children are from an account book kept by him. The accounts in the book range from 1750 to 1767.
     In the records of the First Congregational Church at Stonington is the following:
     "Nov. 17, 1734. Mr. Lionel Udall and his wife Abigail owned the covenantand subjected themselves to ye discipline of the church and the same day their children, Anne, Abigail, and Lionel were baptized."
     The later baptisms of Samuel, William the second, Mary and John are recorded. The entire family moved about 1772 to Vermont, where many of the name have occupied prominent positions. (John D. Champlin in New England Genealogical Register 40:330.).¹

     Lionel Udall was a Doctor.

     Lionel Udall was born at of Exeter, Devonshire, England.
          He was an innholder at Exeter, England. There is a tradition that he left England in haste about 1715 because he feared a charge of treason based on his harboring rebels in his inn. He had a wife, Anna, and a son, Lionel.

     Mary Upham was the daughter of Deacon John Upham and Elizabeth (?).¹ Mary Upham married John Whittemore, son of Thomas Whittemore and Hannah Chawkley, on 12 March 1660/61 at Charlestown, Middlesex, Massachusetts, USA.^2,1 Mary Upham died on 27 June 1677 at Charlestown, Middlesex, Massachusetts, USA.^2,1

     Etta Upshaw was born on 22 July 1869.¹ Etta Upshaw married George William Allison, son of William Samuel Allison and Mary M. Kirkham.¹ Etta Upshaw died on 21 April 1916 at Bienville, Louisiana, USA, at age 46.¹

     Andreas Urbas is the son of Georg Urbas and Theresia Marolt.¹ Andreas Urbas married Mary (?) on 7 January 1929 at Carinthia, Austria.¹

     Anton Urbas was born at Ivanje Selo, Cerknica, Slovenia. Anton Urbas married Agnes Sernu at Slovenia.^1,2 Anton Urbas died at Ivanje Selo, Cerknica, Slovenia.

     Franz Urbas was born on 20 September 1898 at Waisenberg, Austria.^4,2 Franz Urbas was the son of Georg Urbas and Theresia Marolt.^1,2,3 Franz Urbas married Modestine Sternad.⁴ Franz Urbas died on 17 January 1933 at Niedertrixen, Austria, at age 34; Franz Urbas was killed in 1933 when the authorities tried to confiscate his cow. He was shot while resisting them.^1,5,4

     Georg Urbas was born on 31 March 1855 at Ivanje Selo, Cerknica, Slovenia.^3,1,2 Georg Urbas was the son of Anton Urbas and Agnes Sernu.^1,2 Georg Urbas married Theresia Marolt, daughter of Bartholomaus Marolt and Marija Hiti, on 9 September 1894 at St. Margarethen a.T., Voelkermarkt, Carinthia, Austria.^4,5,1,2 Georg Urbas died on 24 October 1944 at Carinthia, Austria, at age 89.⁶
