5. BETSY⁵ NAIRN (595) (James⁴, May³ Arnot, James², George¹) was born on 31 Jul 1858 at Newburgh, Fife, Scotland. She married James Barlow (594), son of Joseph Barlow (596) and Catharine McDonald (597), on 28 Mar 1882. She died on 29 Sep 1935 at Dundee, Forfarshire, Scotland, at age 77.
Children of Betsy⁵ Nairn (595) and James Barlow (594) were:

6. i. BETSY NAIRN⁶ (584) was born on 11 Feb 1894 at Newburgh, Fife, Scotland. She married John Sinclair (583), son of John Sinclair (588) and Annie Stewart McDougall (589), on 24 Mar 1925.

6. BETSY NAIRN⁶ BARLOW (584) (Betsy⁵ Nairn, James⁴, May³ Arnot, James², George¹) was born on 11 Feb 1894 at Newburgh, Fife, Scotland. She married John Sinclair (583), son of John Sinclair (588) and Annie Stewart McDougall (589), on 24 Mar 1925. She died on 18 Apr 1962 at Dundee, Angus, Scotland, at age 68.

     Curly was reported to be a terrier-border collie mix -- in other words, a mutt.¹²
